Foxy WordPress theme blog theme

Foxy, along with the incredibly powerful (and free!) plugin called WooCommerce, is a lovely and talented entry in the premium theme market, it’s an ideal way to sell products online with a powerful and well-organized theme, built from the ground up for great SEO, easy navigation for users and the ability to do your work without having to be an expert in web design or coding.  That’s right, this eCommerce template has a lot of features that make it a great choice for beginners and WordPress experts alike, it doesn’t matter how extensive your experience is.  Foxy also has a slick blog layout template, which is pretty cool, and the filterable portfolio page makes for an attractive way to showcase your work in a professional way.   Foxy is a great blend of style, finely tuned code, clean design and other features that help create a fun and secure way to sell products, whether they’re tangible goods, services, digital downloads or anything else for that matter.

But that pretty much covers it, I guess. Foxy has a clear, classically styled portfolio that is fully responsive, changing to fit any device it’s viewed on.  Turning images into a slideshow?   It’s a breeze with Foxy’s gallery builder.  Elegant Themes offers a highly detailed documentation and their support is legendary.  Elegant Themes really took their time to make a fantastic product and it shows with the high level of detail, the great features and the price too.

Foxy is a creation of Elegant Themes and I really like the design of this one.  It’s simple, clean and modern with a little bit of style that is unique to Elegant Themes. A lot of their stuff fits a certain style, a little bit more ornate than some other themes on the market, perhaps even some are a little bit dated.  But Foxy has held up, despite being a few years old now.  Elegant Themes has a wide range of themes that they sell as a package for basically the price of one theme, you get 87 (currently) options.  For the price, especially if you’re just getting started or you’re running a rather large operation, that selection is pretty nice to have at your disposal.

Also, we’ve included Foxy in our collection of bakery themes, because I’ve seen a demo site that uses it, it’s pretty amazing.  Click here for that full listing.

Dine & Drink Responsive Restaurant WordPress Theme

D & D Theme. Modern Design that has a fully Responsive Design, looks great on desktops, and touch sensitive tablets and mobile devices.

Not just for Dungeous and Dragons anymore, the letters D&D have a new meaning now.  This D&D is a food related theme that’s also amazing for coffee shops and bakeries.  Not to be confused with the M&M in Butte, Montana.  That’s another great place you can get coffee.    But enough about that, I could get sucked into thinking about Butte, Montana all day.  Well, one more thing, I’d say if you’re in Butte and you want a coffee, you could check out Oro Fino, 68 Park Street.  They make a really solid cup of coffee or espresso and I’m partial to their Americano myself.  I’ve noticed that a lot of people in Butte like a lot of flavored syrups, which just really wouldn’t fly around where I live, but they’re kind of new to the high end coffee scene, so that’s cool.  I do like their website, but they could probably use an upgrade from our collection of great WordPress coffee shop themes.  But then again, it’s a personal choice, if they like it, they like it and that’s great for them.

The developer of Drink & Dine says this about their theme.

Dine & Drink is Responsive Restaurant WordPress Theme, suited for any kind of restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, bakery, cake, Mexican cuisine, pasta, pizza, ice cream, Japanese, sushi, salad etc.

So, where was I?  Oh yeah, restaurants.  And Butte, Montana.  Restaurant recommendations you say?  In Butte, Montana you say?  Okay I say.  Well, what do you know, somebody wants to know what I think about something.  Well, there’s the Silver Dollar, the owner is a super nice guy who moved to Butte from Chicago.  At least, that was the case a few years back.  You’ve got the MuddyCreek Brewery, who looks like they may have selected a theme from our collection of restaurant templates for WordPress.  There’s also Quarry Brewing and check out their domain, it’s awesome:  wedigbeer.com.  Haha, well played.  And what trip down Butte’s memory lane would be complete without a nice Butte style pasty?  The best, of course, is from Nancy’s Pasties.  Here’s her Facebook profile.

Oh, wow, that was fun.  Why am I on a kick about Butte, Montana?  Well, it could be in honor of the first anniversary of our creation of the Silverbow WordPress theme.  It’s free, and it’s (sort of) named after the county Butte, Montana is located in.  (Silverbow is the theme, Silver Bow is the county.)  Well, anyhow, it’s simple, clean and beautiful.

The theme, not Butte.

Bakery WordPress Theme for bakeries

Cooking up tasty treats? You’ll need a WordPress theme that’s every bit as delicious. That’s Bakery.  Well, I really wouldn’t put it in my mouth, I don’t know where it’s been.  But it does look delicious.

Bakery has been Themeforest.net’s best selling food and recipe theme for much of 2015 and it’s easy to see why.  The WooCommerce ready design is fantastic, ideal for bakeries, cake shops and every sort of food related site, from catering to a brunch restaurant.  WooCommerce allows for a smooth shopping experience and it has all the features you need like post types, menu, order forms, news, a gallery and more.  Bakery is also drag and drop, so you can customize your needs with ease.  Best WordPress Single Page Themes

Clean and visually stunning, Bakery is also well supported.  This was the most popular and fastest selling theme of 2015, but it doesn’t mean that it’s outdated.  This one is still going strong, thanks to a well crafted interface and enough tools to get your website whipped into shape and help draw in new customers to your business.  From online reviews, people love the support offered by the theme sellers and it’s been called a ‘robust and reliable’ theme, that’s perfect for your food related business.

Of course, Bakery is a…bakery theme.  But it’s so much more.

This is superfood, a vibrant, organically fun WordPress theme for food products, healthy living and downhome cooking.  Yeehaw!

Superfood is simple to use, easy to customize and it provides a cornucopia of options for styles, feels and looks.  Wanta  food blog that’s completely into social media?  Super Food is devfionitely that.  This thing is like a Kardashian with the Tweetagramming and the Instafacing.

I love the look of this template, Super Food gives you a dozen different homepage layouts to choose from.  Now, if you don’t like the images, don’t worry, you’ll be subbing in your own.  That’s something I noticed anout this theme, not all the images are things I’d pick.  They’re okay, but I don’t know.  I love them but I’m not *in* love with them.  That’s nonsense anyway.

Super Food is a popular offering from Elated Themes a relatively new theme maker but one that’s made an impression on a lot of folks already.  Let’s peep some other designs really quick.

Superfood Landing Page Recipe Blog

For a food blog theme, you could definitely do a lot worse than Superfood!

Check out the coffees shop demo.  Cool fonts seem to be necessary for a good coffee shop.  My favorite font maker is House IndustriesSudtipos is good too.  In fact, I love Sudtipos so much, I used their Calgary Script font on my site’s logo.  How do you like that?

Or the bakery look. I can practically smell myself getting fatter.  One thing I really do value about Super Food, the demo sites really do cover a wide array of what you could do with the template if you buy it.

Super Food Bakery Style Theme

Here’s a grocery store theme, ideal for small grocers, organic shops, even local coops.

How about this traditional WordPress restaurant theme look?

Super Food Restaurant Theme

While Food Blog is obviously meant to be a, well, a food blog primarily, the portfolio page is snappy and fun.  I think it lends itself pretty well to any sort of portfolio site, though maybe it’s a bit specialized for some tastes.

Super Food Portfolio Page

Okay, so that’s Superfood.  What do you think?  If you want to get into a food blog, it’s a great choice.  And still solid for some other uses too.
